“Dusty to Digital” Service

Maybe I’m biased to photographs, but, I believe there’s little more physical item that is more important to your family’s history and legacy that the photographs that have been collected and passed down for generations. I want to help you by giving you a digital copy of your old family photos.

After the tornado that came through Jonesboro in March of 2020 that hit my parent’s house, I got a pit in my stomach because none of us had taken the time to preserve our old family photos outside of organizing them into sealed tubs and envelopes. So, I made it a priority of mine, once we got our parents settled in a rental home while theirs was being rebuilt, to take the time to scan every single photo that we had that had been collected from the time of my Great Great Grandparents (at least).

Now, I offer this service to MDP Clients. Here are all the details:

*I will scan the PHOTO SIDE of your loose photographs, or the front side of your recipe card, in no particular order.

*If you have photos in old albums that you'd like made digital, those will need to be removed prior to me receiving. I will not take photos out of albums, frames, mattes, etc.

*You may organize your photos into envelopes (small or large) that you have labeled to keep like photographs together. If you do not label the envelope, I will assign each envelope a number. I will scan what is inside the envelope and return the photos that were in it to it.

*Still photos only (no video).

*This does not include photo restoration.

*Your original photos will be returned to you and your digital .jpeg files will be given to you on a jump drive. Pricing below includes one jump drive. If you’d like multiple jump drives made so that other family members can have a complete set of the family historical photos (recommended), those are +$25 each.

*As part of this service, I will also archive the digital versions of your family photos for you on 2 separate hard drives so that between the 2 of us, your family heirloom photographs should be safe for your lifetime and beyond.

Pricing will vary depending on number of photos. But, to give you a general break down (not including taxes):

$175 - up to 250 photos
$275 - 251 to 450 photos
$400 - 451 to 700 photos
$625 - 701 to 900 photos
$800 - 901 to 1100 photos
$975 - 1101 to 1400 photos
$1200 - 1401 to 1750 photos
$1575 - 1751 to 2500 photos
$1950 - 2501 to 4250 photos
(for families with more than 4250 photos, MDP will work with you individually on price.)

You may also have your photos scanned in stages to spread out the cost. Or multiple family members (of the same family) can choose to purchase this service together to share the cost of having ALL their historical family photos digitized.
