The Melissa Donner Photography Studio Property has an array of options for all kinds of photo sessions. The property is almost 3 and a half acres and provides both indoor and outdoor options!
The MDP indoor studio is 2,500 square foot and is packed with a variety of backdrops that are solid colored, real reclaimed wood, and hand-painted murals! If there is a particular solid colored backdrop that you would like for your session, please check with MDP in advance of your session to see if the color you want is in stock. If it isn’t currently in stock in the studio, we will order it and have it there for your session! The Studio has a large prop room filled with baskets, buckets, baby beds, tiny couches, seasonal decor, and much more! Inside the studio we also have a Newborn Wardrobe Wall with a large selection of outfits for your newborn photography sessions as well as a Sitter Closet with outfits ranging in sizes to fit 6 months through 12 months. All of which is available to you during your session at the MDP Studio!
The MDP outdoor property, nicknamed “Bokeh Meadow,” offers great tree lines and open field spaces, as well as smaller structures that can be used for photos like The Cottage, The Cub, The Prism, and The Playhouse! Throughout the year, one or more of these outdoor structures may be decorated for a current season or holiday! Our property has 16 Weeping Willow trees planted that are growing and thriving and we can’t wait for them to be mature to provide extra shade and whimsical beauty to our property! We also have a raised flower bed area where we plant spring wildflowers, and an open field where we have our own sunflower patch periodically!
